Was the Industrial Revolution Good Or Bad For Society?

Was the Industrial Revolution Good Or Bad For Society? The history of the Industrial Revolution is shrouded in controversy, and many ask the question; was the Industrial Revolution good or bad for society? For instance, were we better off as a society due to the Industrial Revolution? Well, we can take a look at this in several ways. One way to look at the Industrial Revolution is to think about what society was like before it, which if you've read 'The Jetsons' then you probably remember. In the past, people were hunters and gatherers, and society was very harsh in that regard. With the invention of farming and the Agricultural Revolution (which included the invention of the plow), society began to change and things began to change for the better. When the Industrial Revolution came about, things began to shift, but it took until well into the nineteenth century before societies population began to grow in an orderly fashion again. This change brought about the creation of a work ethic that had been lacking before. The Industrial Revolution brought about new jobs that were very easy to do and provided money for families to live on. The Industrial Revolution brought about the opportunity for many to work and provided them with the necessary income to send their children to school. Now, let's turn to look at whether or not the Industrial Revolution was good or bad for society. Consider these questions: what was society like before? what effect did the Industrial Revolution have on society? As the Industrial Revolution came and went, society saw the beginnings of industrialization, innovation, growth, and change. Unfortunately, those changes caused people to feel much less comfortable in their jobs than they had in the past, but all of this changed as society began to shift back towards normality.Because we're using the Industrial Revolution as an example, I want to caution you to be very careful what conclusions you draw from this. The Industrial Revolution occurred over 200 years ago and there are still a great deal of people who do not understand its impact on society. Therefore, I suggest that you only use this as an example when your topic is a highly controversial topic and discussing how or why something happened in history will help us to gain a better understanding of our society's place in the world today. In conclusion, the answer to the question 'was the Industrial Revolution good or bad for society?' will likely come down to your individual point of view. But one thing is certain: the Industrial Revolution ushered in a period of growth, change, and growth in our country's society. Many of us will agree that we are a much better country now than we were two hundred years ago because of the Industrial Revolution. It may be hard to believe but it's true, and it's one reason why I consider the Industrial Revolution to be one of the greatest achievements in the history of the world.
